My lovely daughter, Jula, and new son-in-law, Nick, were married in a wonderful outdoor October wedding at the historic Northstar Mine house in Grass Valley, CA. A perfect match, … they dated and fell in love in high school and Nick asked me a couple of years ago, the old fashioned way, for Jula’s hand in marriage. I couldn’t be happier for them! A couple of years of saving and meticulous planning of the myriad of details paved the way for the special day. And what a day it was! We are all so thankful for the many friends and family members, way too numerous to mention, who pitched in with every aspect to make this wedding day so special and beautiful for this sweet couple. They had a spectacular day of celebration and love, from the getting ready at the brides house and the grooms rented digs, to the emotional first look at Wolf Creek, to the awesome and moving ceremony, to the hopping reception, both at Northstar Mine House, ….and the rain stayed away, it was a beautiful day.
