Chelsea and Cole wedding – Reno, Nevada

In the Biggest Little City in the World, in the oldest (1868) church in Reno, and on the last vestiges of 2012, Chelsea and Cole joyously celebrated their wedding day.  And a beautiful brisk winter day it was.  Chelsea and her bridesmaids got dressed at the 6th floor, swimming pool level, at the elegant Montage.  A few blocks away, the touching ceremony, witnessed by families and many friends, was held in the historic First United Methodist Church and officiated by the Reverend John Emerson.  After the ceremony and group photos, darkness had set in, and we had a quick photo session at the adjacent River Walk Park encompassing a stretch of the Truckee River.  The fun reception was held at The Grove.  The dj for the event was Darren Chapel, a former groom of mine.  He and his buddy did a great job and kept the joint hoppin’.  I felt right at home, … besides Elizabeth and Darren, another former b/g was there, Katie (Cole’s sister) and Scott, so had a chance to get reacquainted with friends.  ‘Twas a super time photographing the special moments to tell the story of their day.
