Alisa and Dan’s destination wedding in Mexico was wonderful! A week of fun capped off by a beautiful sunset ceremony at the Royal Villas Resort in Mazatlan. Many of their friends and family were able to join them in Mexico for the celebration and I had the opportunity to get to know many of them. Martha Perez with Your Very Own Fairy Godmother, from Austin, Texas, did a superb job planning the wedding. She’s a Mazatlan native and, as such, her knowledge of vendors in the area was invaluable.
After the ceremony we went out to the beach and got some great shots as the sun was setting. Afterwards, up to the penthouse to get some group shots with still some color in the sky and city lights for backgrounds.
At the reception, the toasts from supportive families was funny and emotional, and the dancing was high energy. The bride and groom each were taken across the street to Gus Gus, a super night club, for shots. What fun!
