Late Sunday afternoon while driving to meet Lindsay and Carl at Pioneer Park in Nevada City for their engement shoot I noticed a large gathering of grey clouds making their way across the sky. As the clouds intermitently began covering the sun my thoughts were on making sure I watched my camera settings to make sure my exposures were correct. The thought of rain didn’t cross my mind! About 40 minutes into the shoot the drops started to come. Lindsay and Carl were great sports and we kept shooting, and just had fun with it. We were quickly soaked and took a break under cover. My Canon equipment came through the rain without a problem. Ten minutes later it had stopped and we went to the playground to finish shooting. Had a great time with them, they are so much in love. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley on the 24th of this month.
