Michelle and Chris and I became friends over the last few years as Michelle kept popping up as a bridesmaid in destination weddings in Mexico and Costa Rica. When it became their turn to tie the knot I was delighted when they asked if I would come to Chicago to photograph their nuptials. Yay! First time in Chicago for me and it was fantastic! They showed me the gorgeous downtown area, Millenium Park, and the Navy Pier and we had a wonderful photo session there (see previous blog post). I was also invited out to Des Plains to photograph family and friends at a cool get-together before the wedding. Michelle and Chris had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a fun reception at the wonderful and eclectic Salvage One in Chicago, IL. I enjoyed seeing and yakking with many friends there from previous weddings including former b/g’s Maggie and Ben, and Marina and Chris! Such a terrific and fun time! Congrats and all the best to a wonderful couple, Michelle and Chris!
