Always so many wonderful photo ops when shooting dancers. Beautiful, artistic, movement plus interesting and often challenging light. Two of my daughters are currently dancers and while they love seeing the photos they suggest that I put down the camera and just see and enjoy the dance for what it is. I’ve done that, .. and it’s good. .. but, for me, shooting while watching is even better, like putting chocolate syrup on vanilla ice cream. Kuddos to Joyce Gouveia, who teaches dance at BRHS and director of the show, and to my daughter, Sonya, who assisted her. All the dancers, choreographers, and people behind the scenes put on a fantastic show, as they do every year!
