Our annual Nevada County Fair is in full swing this week. Located in Grass Valley, CA, and situated amidst the towering pine trees, it is one of the most beautiful fairgrounds in the state. For my daughters it’s all about hanging out with their friends and and getting slung about on the daredevil rides. I hadn’t been in several years and was looking forward to the fun photo ops presented by the bright lights, swirling action and crying out loud colors. No dollar burning rides for me, my puke threshold has been lowered significantly in the last decade. Tons of other fun stuff to see and do, though. Great exhibits, music, corndogs, rodeo …
