Meagan and Ben wedding – Preservation Park, Oakland, CA

It rained cats and dogs on Meagan and Ben’s wedding day.  I left almost an hour earlier than normal on the drive from Grass Valley to Oakland, and it took every bit of that.  Often the traffic was stop and go with windshield wipers going full blast.  But, so what?  ….it was a gorgeous wedding anyway.  The rain clouds broke and the sun was shining as I arrived at Preservation Park, a beautifully recreated Victorian neighborhood, in Oakland, CA.  The ceremony and reception had been moved from outside to the elegant ballroom area.  Either way it would have been perfect, and it was!  It’s all about the people, and Meagan and Ben and their families and friends were ready and excited to celebrate the joyous occasion!  Joe Romagna was the cool DJ, and all flowed smoothly and dance floor was hoppin’.  It was fun seeing Ashley (Ben’s sister) and David again.  I shot their beautiful wedding almost 4 years ago in Penn Valley, CA.  Immensely enjoyed this day!   Congratulations and all the best to Meagan and Ben!
