Jennifer and Jason were married before many friends and family at the gorgeous Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley, CA a couple of weeks ago. May weather this year has been unseasonably wet here in N. California and rain was forecast for the day. Spirits undaunted, a large tent was set up for the ceremony and reception and plans did a zig and a zag and the beautiful celebration went on with enthusiasum. The rain let up at periods and full advantage was taken to get great photos around the wonderfully manicured grounds. Additionally, the accomodating park rangers allowed the wedding party to use the historic old clubhouse for more photo ops. It was awesome to see the love and optimism displayed in this fun couple. Kate Gaffney’s band was killer and the place was hopping. Some of the hard working vendors who deserved thanks are Foothill Florist (Marie) for the lovely flowers and Patty Hanford who catered the delicious dinner! Many thanks to my talented second shooter, Sorena, who did an amazing job helping me out and some of her photos are posted below as well!
