Katie and Scott Engagement – Bridgeport

Katie and Scott came down from Oregon over Easter weekend and we met up at the historic Bridgeport covered bridge here in beautiful Nevada County, CA, for their engagment session.  We had a 3 day window in which to choose a few hours without rain, … lucked out, it began raining right as we finished up.  This wonderful old bridge, built in 1862, and spanning the Yuba River, at 251 feet, is the longest single span covered bridge in the U.S.  Photo ops abound in and around the bridge and Katie and Scott are a fun loving couple who were willing to try all suggestions to get some cool photos. … as long as it didn’t involve snakes, right Katie?  I told them the story about my table tennis buddy who had his picture snapped while hiking on a trail near the bridge and after the photo was printed he noticed in the picture there was a big rattler only a few feet away from him.  Oh, and about the pic with the leg action, Scott made sure I got a shot of his boots, the whole boot in one photo.   Fun time!  Gonna be a great wedding!
