A month or so ago I was contacted by W-Trans, the traffic engineering firm from Santa Rosa that designed the roundabout on E. Main St. in Grass Valley, CA, to take freelance photos for their promotional use. To do so I needed a high vantage point and that necessitated a 65 foot reach utility lift truck, provided by Kuttler Tree Service. Last week the weather and schedules fell into place to make it all happen and the fun began. First time up in one of those lift buckets for me, .. waaay up there, and what a view! I also took a few shots of the cool art work in the center for the sculptor Kurt Steger. Here’s few of the photos.

Check out this amazing coincidence. One of Kuttler’s workers was taking a few pics of me in the bucket and a plane happened to fly, what appears to be, right in front of my camera lens! Ha.
