They call it Enduro because you’re lucky if you finish the race! My buddy, Mike, who used to race Enduro, invited me for a fun evening out to watch the action, at the Placer Co. fairgrounds in Roseville, CA, and I took him up on the offer last Sat. Took my daughters Jula and Dora, and Jula’s friend Annie, with me. I really didn’t think the girls could sit through 3 hours of car racing but they had a super time, especially getting to see the cars and drivers in the pit area afterwards.
Enduro is good, old fashioned, Sat night smash ’em up racing! They even soap up the track before the race to make sure there will be a lot of slipping, sliding, and colliding, and for good measure, leave a lot fo 50 gallon barrels of soapy water sitting on track to dodge, or not!
