Tami and Steve

Last week, in Oregon, I did a photo shoot for Tami, my pretty niece, and her husband Steve. They have been married 3 years and are from Texas, where I grew up. Very happy couple, very much in love, with everything going for them, …and Tami loves photography! Part of the shoot took place on and around an arched wooden bridge over the gorgeous Deschutes River. The sun was setting and we caught the soft golden light perfectly on some of the photos with the sunbeams piercing the clouds. Below are some of my favorites.

The wildflower shot took place in the bright harsh mid-day sun. Tough lighting, but this is one way to make it work. Use a shallow depth of field, focus on the flowers, and blur the couple.

The corrugated wall of the tunnel makes a very nice background pattern in the closeup shot inside the bike path tunnel.

The last photo, in sepia, show Mt. Bachelor in the background.
